Introduction
The Prince Edward Island Automobile Dealers Association (PEIADA) is the provincial association for franchised automobile dealerships that sell new vehicles in Prince Edward Island. PEIADA represents the new automobile dealers (Class A) on Prince Edward Island. We are a self-funded non-profit association with Dealer Member dues collected based on sales numbers, and Associate Member dues collected at a flat rate. PEIADA is the only provincial automobile dealers association in Canada to be able to boast 100 per cent membership, which puts us in an enviable position of being able to say that we truly represent the views of all new automobile dealerships on Prince Edward Island.
Our province is small but our efforts are relative, and we are a solid group with continuously strong and growing sales. PEIADA acts as the provincial voice of its Dealer Members, representing their collective views, opinions and needs. It watches over and protects the interests of Dealer Members, serving as an advocate to government, industry and the media. PEIADA seeks cooperative action in advancing the common purposes of Dealer Members, fostering equity in all their relationships with the general public, employees, and other branches of the automotive industry and among the dealers themselves. Prince Edward Island NEW automobile dealers make up a valuable sector of the provincial economy, both as a retail-driven economic builder and retail tax generator, as well as a large employer:

COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Local dealers personally invest money in the community and provide local employment. Many dealers are active in local organizations, charities, hospitals, sports and cultural organizations. The charity of choice for PEIADA is Special Olympics Prince Edward Island (SOPEI). PEIADA has supported SOPEI since 1987 and PEIADA Dealer Members have collectively donated over $165,000 to Special Olympics PEI through PEIADA’s April Car Campaign and live auction at its annual golf tournament.
